An encyclopedia of weirdness

So, art and I are not on the best terms at the moment. I don't feel very motivated to open PS and even when I do, things don't really turn out the way I plan them. I have a couple of conceptual arts in mind, but I can't find the right images and some of the episodic wallpapers simply refuse to get pinned down. So I made icons, mainly from It's A Terrible Life. I am not all that happy with these, but I thought I'd post them nonetheless. Enjoy!

So, I usually wait until I have at least two wallpapers to show for, but I haven't been able to art for nearly two months and people asked me for new art, so I'll make an exception today. My current hectic RL situation will be be over in about 4 weeks and then I'll hopefully be able to make art on a more regular basis again. :) Thanks for all the impatient requests for new art, it's always very humbling for me to know that there are people who look forward to it! ♥

I also changed my LJ layout again and I used a fanmade custom layout this time. I loved my old layout, but I always ran into trouble with space if a comment discussion entailed more than 3-4 comments, so I was looking for a suitable alternative anyway.

I am sorry for the lack of art in the last couple of weeks. My RL at the moment is absolutely crazy and I barely have time for anything fun, let alone open PS. I managed a couple of icons though, some holiday themed, others random icons from the last couple of episodes. Enjoy!

The end scene of Yellow Fever reminded me of the fact that Supernatural has this fabulous knack for beautiful scenery shots with the boys or the Impala or both. So I thought why not make a small icon batch with some of these shots. I went without my beloved icon textures and gradients this time and only worked with the natural colours. Hope you enjoy!

In celebration of the spectacular return of the show, I tried my hands at my first S4 inspired wallpaper. Just a simple character piece, but I thought I'd share. :)

So, as promised, I made a wallpaper out of my new layout and I am incredibly happy with the way it turned out. I haven't been this satisfied with a wallpaper in a very long time! Enjoy!

My muse is on and off nowadays and so I force myself to sit down with PS and try different stuff and see if I can jumpstart inspiration by randomly playing with images. Needless to say that the success varies, but at least it keeps me busy. *g* Hope you all enjoy my new art!

The last two weeks I was pretty busy, not to mention slain by the heat wave we had, so I didn't get around to make art. Yesterday my muse struck though and I finally took the plunge and made a wall that focuses on the sadder aspects of No Rest For The Wicked. I hope ya'll like it! :)

Oh, and after much internal debating, I finally changed my LJ layout to a more open and seamless style. I was so tired of the box-y Flexible Squared layout. :)
