Scenery Icons

The end scene of Yellow Fever reminded me of the fact that Supernatural has this fabulous knack for beautiful scenery shots with the boys or the Impala or both. So I thought why not make a small icon batch with some of these shots. I went without my beloved icon textures and gradients this time and only worked with the natural colours. Hope you enjoy!

The caps I used in these icons are snagged from Leggyslove Supernatural caps. Feel free to use the icons but please give credit if you do so.

Man, I love those pretty, pretty establishing shots Show throws in from time to time.

So you went without any textures or gradients...but still managed to come up with gorgeously vivid colouring. Fabulous.

Thanks, hon! *hugs* Yeah, I wasn't really in the mood for icons for a long time, dunno why. *shrugs*

Heh, that's what 'selective colour' and 'curves' are for. You can work out the natural colours in an image with those tools and enhance them. It's pretty fun and way less exhausting than gradients if you you just want vivid colours but no gradient effects. :)

See, this is why you will always, always be a hundred times better at all forms of art than me. I can read those words and know what they mean in terms of PS technique...but have absolutely no eye for applying them whatsoever!

LOL Thanks, Francy! It's not me, it's the people at Supernatural, I just show them off. Hehe I did write poetry as a matter of fact, when I was younger, but I gave up on it, just like on any kind of creative writing.
