Hey there, I don't know about ya'll but I am not really ready to start on finale art yet and instead decided that I needed some happy Winchesters on my desktop, you know, for comfort! Just in case anybody needs that as well, I thought I might share! :)



This is just a quick brotherly wallpaper, nothing fancy or meaningful, something to make me smile when I look at it. :) It didn't quite turn out how I wanted, so I might give the whole brotherly banter & teasing theme another try with a different style, but for now this has to make due. LOL

rotfl ! fantastic ! really funny, great job hun ;) and thanks for not posting finale's art yet, I have to run away from that ! and jeez that's like impossible, everywhere I turn, people talk about the final episode and how supposidly sad it is *sigh. is so tired to be behind the rest of the world* I need to get back on the impala road very quickly or it'll end up just like the very first time I saw an sp episode (it was "All Hell Breaks Loose, part 2" lol).

When will you be able to see the finale? Yeah, I guess it's very difficult to avoid spoilers at the moment, with everybody totally jazzed about the finale! Will be a while before I can art that episode, need more distance LOL

I'll probably have to re-watch the entire season this summer, since I don't really remember any of the 5 episodes I saw *sigh*. I hate to do this, but I'll watch through youtube or something. Don't really have a choise. This season only has 16 episodes, right ? *heart attack* does that mean it's the last season ?!!!!!

Man, that sucks! :( Watching S3 in one run is probably a good thing though, because with the strike there were huge gaps during the airing period and that took some of the momentum out. Yeah, the season only has 16 episodes. No, SN had an early pick-up by the network for a 4th season. The new episodes presumably start on September 4th! *g*

This absolutely made my day! The fun brother art is exactly what we need after the finale, and it's a BEAUTIFUL peice! I loved that you put in the "extra oninons" that Dean seems to love so much, and the "lap rat" too. I loved that scene, in fact I just made some avvies from it not so long ago I need to post... Lol. Anyways! This one is defiantely going on my favorites list from you. ^_^

Awe, well there are many many brotherly scenes to choose from. But the ones you used are some of my favorites for sure. Like when Sam gave Dean a little shove at the end of The Usual Suspects, or them walking in ELAC. They're just sweet little moments but fangirls eat them up! Lol. And then the "Moments gone" and when Dean was making the fart noises, and the rock paper sissors! Man, how did you narrow it down?! Now that I think about it it would be so hard! Lol.

LOL it was narrowed down by simple artistic decisions: perspective and blending capabilities. Not every moment is adequately captured in caps and not all caps go good together and create an aesthetic blend. So basically it came down to what looks good! *g*

I think it'll take quite a bit of distance to be able to make finale art. Recapping is hard enough!

Oh heh, different styles go a long way to work with a theme. This one focused more on the comfort aspect between the boys, with the big caps of Sam and Deans smiling at each other. The one I want is more focusing on the whole siblings banter/teasing/annoying aspect. *g*

Yep, especially to develop some kind of concept for finale art just requires that I am not reduced to incoherent 'oh god', 'oh no', 'oh boys' babble if I only look at the caps! LOL

I agree the coloring doesn't really fill me with the joy that the pics do. But yes, black walls are much easier to construct and sometimes you have do something fast or moment is lost. Glad you captured it! *heart*

Yeah, lol black is just very easy to work and I just wanted to do something quick for my desktop (cause 90% of my walls are dramatic ones) and didn't strive for greatness, only something that would make me smile and feel warm. I wouldn't necessarily post atuff like that but I liked it well enough to show the public! LOL
