New Salt'n Burn Layout

S5 is approaching fast and I didn't update my website for months, so I thought I really should get Salt'n Burn ready for the new season. Today I finally managed to muster up the energy and enthusiasm to get it done and not only made a new layout, but also added S5 pages to my Supernatural art and review section. I hope that wasn't too optimistic, considering the fact that I barely made any art these last couple of month! *g* And since it's really no huge effort to make a layout into a wallpaper, I did that as well.



Wasteland: So, this is nothing fancy or overly deep, just a PS quickie. :) We will start the season with the brothers' relationship in ruins and the apocalypse looming around the corner, so I thought my layout should reflect that. It's dark and cold colours are dominant, the world is a wasteland and Sam and Dean look appropriately grim. Let's hope things'll look up sooner rather than later. :)

By the way, I get a lot of questions about my tagboard on Salt'n Burn, because tags don't seem to show up. Don't worry, tagging works fine, it's just that I screen my tagboard at the moment, because of spam problems. Usually I add the genuine tags manually to the tagboard within a day or two. So, nothing is lost. :)

I don't have an exact premiere date for S2, but since S1 ran from September-December 2008, I assume S2 will run in the same timeframe in 2009. The BBC is usually very acurate with the schedules. So, Merlin should start sometime next month. Just like most of the US shows. *g* Uhm, you can't persuade me. I am not a multi-fandom artist. It's SN all the way for me, no matter how much I love other shows as well. I barely art as it is, so if I art I want it to be Dean and Sammy. :)

ROFL I don't spend 16 hours in one session, it's spread out over a couple of days with these kinds of wallpapers. :)

*grins* Yeah, though you spread everything over a few days. Personally I don't have any sort of patience for that. Hence why I tend to much up things often enough.

I figure as much. And I'll try, not least because I feel I'll get rusty if I don't practice regularly. I'll see how it goes, but I can't force it and there is a very real chance that I might stop arting completely. But who knows, maybe S5 fires me up again. LOL
