I was in the mood to make some icons, so I sat down and created random icons from 'Fresh Blood'. Enjoy! :)

The caps I used in these icons are from Leggyslove's SN Caps. I used textures from gender and stocks from Stock.Xchng. Feel free to use the icons but please give credit.

Well, you know me - I'm pretty lousy with colouring, probably because I'm too lazy to really try all that hard, and not brave enough to experiment much! So I'm always in absolute awe of what you always seem to pull off with your gradients.

ROFL nothing wrong with natural colours, really! Gradients are just very addictive. ;) I on the other hand am not all that original when it comes to cropping icons, you have that down pretty well. ♥

I agree the vivid coloring is something else. Hmmm...could be the monitor I'm on but wow! I also love that there is some muted or neutral coloring over the main object in many of them. Very evocative. *heart*

Thank you, hon! ♥ Well, I always try to use vivid colours, I know though that on flatscreens or laptop monitors the colours always come out paler in comparison to my tube monitor. Cool that you noted the mutedness on some, I work more with multiply and darken lately which mutes the highlights down.

Fabulous icons. I love the way you use color. Several are reminiscent of those lurid covers of true-crime books from the 50s - which is very much in keeping with the mood of the show.
