There's a muse-less infection going round in the fanart community and as I am sick of that I just forced myself to sit down and just try scenes until caps accidentally fell together to build stuff that I didn't hate entirely LOL. In the end that approach resulted in 2 wallpapers that I really love and one that I don't like that much, but I'll post it anyways :)



'Final' is from the episode 'Hunted' and deals with the dreadful moments Dean went through when he thinks Sam died in the trap Gordon set up for him. The other two are from 'Playthings': one scene, two sides, the light and the dark so to speak. I just couldn't resist drunk!Sam, so 'Hangover' deals with that. That's the one I am not so happy with. 'The Promise' is, well, about the promise Sam coerced out of Dean and I tried to emphasize that Sam verbally handed Dean the 'weapon' to kill him if worst comes to worst, but mainly I was captivated by their extremely pleading expressions.

I love 'Hangover.' Why is that every time I take a look at the wallpaper, I keep giggling? Anyways, I have to be jealous of your muse-less days, because they are always so great (your artwork, that is) and when my muse comes back, I'm tying him down under chains, lock, and key, and hope you do the same, too!

*g* that's because their expressions are funny, but that comes from the caps and has nothing to do with how I presented them ;) It's probably that I am not a fan of this kind of style and everytime I actually do it, I am not satisfied in the end *lol*

Anyways, muses are bitches! I hope you find your writing muse back soon. But it's probably the exam stress that kept you from writing :)

Promise is beautiful. How do you get the shadowing around their faces - I haven't quite learned how to do that yet? Hangover's very cute too. Nice job.

Thank you! I am glad you like the walls :) For 'Promise' I didn't do anything special, since the caps itself just showed the faces with only a black background, the shadows are created through the blending itself in this case :)

For shadowing I usually separate the image from the background and then put a 'drop shadow' on the image, with varying settings, depending on the image. Hope that helps :)

I love the effects in 'Final'. The use of fire is really gorgeous, how it binds together the entire piece, seriously awesome work! The choice of caps works perfect as well as the placement of them and the font/placement of the text. Really great work hun!

"Hangover" just cracks me up. I love the moments you've chosen and the caps of Sam when he's drunk *lol* The coloring and 'boxing' of the caps looks really great and nice touch with the flask! :)

I LOVE 'Hangover', lol. Drunk Sam is just so funny :) The expessions are wonderful and it just makes me smile, love the coloring and texture, very pretty!
