Make A Request: Part I

So, I finished the first prompt from my 'make a request' present for my flist: This is for you,
shawn_anne! I pushed this prompt up - although the deadline for the requests is still open - because she asked for a very christmassy wallpaper, and I thought it would be nice to actually deliver it in time for Christmas, instead of weeks after. :)
Santa And His Elf: Dear
shawn_anne! I know you requested Santa!Dean and Santa!Sam, but when I was about to put a Santa hat on Sam, Dean insisted on exchanging it for an elf hat. You know, when they were kids, before Sammy grew into the Sasquatch, he always made him play the little elf to Dean’s Santa, teasing the hell out of his brother, as it is the older sibling’s prerogative. *g* Of course Sam got bitchy when he found himself dressed with the elf hat, again. Needless to say that Dean was delighted. So, there you have it, Santa!Dean and his (not so little) elf helper.
I had so much fun making this manipulation, as I don’t get to do schmoopy Sam&Dean manips a lot, so thank you so much for your request, hon! *hugs*

Date: 2009-12-19 08:24 pm (UTC)Sam WOULD be made the elf, even though by all rights it should be Dean, since he's shorter! He could be a naughty elf....:p
I've decided that Christmas Day I'm going to watch "A Very Supernatural Christmas" before proceeding with the second half of season 4 and beyond....because it's Christmas! :D

Date: 2009-12-19 08:33 pm (UTC)Of course Dean never forgave Sam that he outgrew him, I am sure Sam used that 'little' fact plenty against Dean. LOL
Awww, I do that every year as well! I ♥ A Very Supernatural Christmas. It's one of my favourite episodes and it never fails to make me all mushy! :)

Date: 2009-12-19 08:37 pm (UTC)Will you watch the epp with your sister then? Does she watch SN too?
no subject
Date: 2009-12-19 08:44 pm (UTC)No, I always watch it before I drive to my sister. I like to enjoy it quietly, and it's never quiet at my sister's. LOL But yes, she watches the show as well. I got her hooked during the S1 summer hiatus. We watched the first season together in 3 days. LOL

Date: 2009-12-19 08:48 pm (UTC)I actually showed a few episodes of SN season 3 (MS-GF) to my friend while I was visiting with her over break, basically this one Netflix disc I hadn't returned, and all I had--she liked it! :D Hopefully in the spring when I'm next home I can see her again and show her SN more properly, once I have seasons 1-4....(I also got her on Merlin and Moonlight over the summer, and VM earlier!).

Date: 2009-12-19 10:53 pm (UTC)Most of the time I'd say start from the beginning, EXCEPT in the case of Moonlight and Buffy. Moonlight's pilot is just so god-awful that it's better to leave it til the end, when the person already likes the show. And Buffy's pilot is so cheesy it's cringeworthy and embarrassing for me to show people. I like to start with season 2 there....

Date: 2009-12-19 11:07 pm (UTC)ROFL that depends, really. If her friend watched 5.07 or 5.09 with her she wouldn't really know that anything was going on at all in this show! *rolleyes*
Heh, yeah the Buffy Pilot is really bad. Not sure if I would recommend it to anybody. But maybe Prophecy Girl is a good starter, too, plus you know what's going on in the S2 premiere then.

Date: 2009-12-19 11:26 pm (UTC)Lol, no, she said that on the show they were talking about how Lucifer had risen, so it had to have been somewhat plot pertinent....and it wasn't 5x10 because she didn't know about Jo (who I mentioned when we were watching some VM later, since Alona Tal is on VM too), and Castiel apparently wasn't in the epp....you could probably figure it out from that! ;)

Date: 2009-12-19 11:43 pm (UTC)However, I knew Lucifer was going to rise eve before I decided to watch SN from the beginning, the TV guide and such mentioned that he was already risen in the beginning of season 5, etc when I was reading for other things....plus a glance at the episode names in season 4 is a give-away, the finale is called "Lucifer Rising"! And I do know some other things, like that Sammy will become addicted to demon blood and go further off the edge, and maybe something else about him in relation to Lucifer's rising....:err:
Oh well, there's still tons I DON'T know about how SN season 4 will play out exactly, or SN season 5, even if I'm more spoiled than I'd like to be.....I think I'm still less spoiled than I was for much of BTVS and ATS especially (I mean I knew about Jasmine taking over Cordy and killing Lilah and the dream!sex with Angel--though it's a testament to how well that epp was done that I didn't realize when it had slipped into the dream, even KNOWING it was coming!....and I knew Cordy would die....:()

Date: 2009-12-20 12:03 am (UTC)And heh, I never read episode summaries (unless it's like on the DVD, which are usually shorter--though that can be equally spoiling), I feel like they do potentially reveal plot twists--like reading the little entries for the DVDs in Buffy season 2, I was spoiled about Cordy and Xander and Angelus because of what those summaries said...

Date: 2009-12-20 12:18 am (UTC)Hm, I meant the official episode summaries that come out before an episode airs. It's usually only 3-4 pretty general lines that leave much room for interpretation and give little away in terms of plottwists or, on occasion, even accurate plot! I never read summaries on DVDs, I find that futile, as I am going to watch it anyway after I made the effort to purchase the DVD. LOL

Date: 2009-12-20 12:22 am (UTC)And hmm, it really depends, I remember the Bones iTunes summaries were so effing detailed that for instance the 2x10 ("Headless Witch in the Woods") one gave away who the killer was!
I'm watching Merlin right now, shocked that we actually got a MENTION of Morgana, in relation to Gwen (you know, her servant and supposed BFF!). Of course she barely shows any concern, her attitude pretty much all season...*sigh*
