Today I had a weird occurrence, was browsing the newsletter and clicked on a recommendation and in that same post someone asked for a manip of Dean with a Highlander sword, for a fictional series, that I haven't even read, but the art just popped into my head and so I had a go at it. T'was was fun and a good excercise in manipping.



So, the art is intended as a header for strangevisitor7's Immortal!Dean series and was requested by trystan830. So no reposting elsewhere. Resources can be found at my resource page over at Salt'n Burn. Enjoy!

Edit: As a special courtesy to trystan830 I made the whole thing into a regular wallpaper. :) Turned out a bit different from the header, but I think I like it even better! *lol*

Actually, we crossed our too worlds for a series of short stories. The Immortal!Dean 'verse is mine and the Meta!Chloe 'verse is hers.

*g* I can hold my tongue! :) Maybe if I am utterly bored during the next couple of days I can make it into a normal 1024 art for you, once the whole composition, colouring etc thing is designed, taking the images and just reproduce it in a higher resolution isn't that much of a deal. ;)

LOL we'll see. I have some other art ideas on a backburner as well, so we'll see what wins out, sometimes I can't afford the time to actually make a new wallpaper but like to play in PS nonetheless and stuff like re-producing and do-overs are good for in-between. ;)

Heh, well, the original composition was just too empty on a big canvas so I added the moon and clouds .. looks rather nice I think. :)

Yeah, the bigger canvas forced me to make some additions since it just looked too empty and so the moon and clouds came in. I am actually quite happy with how this came out, gives it more depth and now the light doesn't seem to come out of nowhere but actually has a source LOL. Sometimes re-works with a bit of distance come out better. ;)
