Things to do during the hiatus ...
I hope you all have somewhat recovered from the finale by now. *g* Personally, I loved it. I mean, okay, I have a couple of quibbles, especially with Let It Bleed, which has been less engaging overall for me than The Man Who Knew Too Much, but overall I am satisfied with the resolutions presented in the finale episodes. I have to say that I adored all things Sam in particular, my Sam love knows no bounds at the moment. ♥ In any case, it’s a tad inconvenient that both episodes aired after another, because I feel that it is more difficult to write a review if I cannot focus on one episode alone. My thoughts jump from one episode to the other and it’s all a bit jumbled at the moment. I will try to get these reviews done as fast as possible though.
Now, once these reviews are done, I am faced with the rest of the hiatus and my list of fannish things to do is quite long. However, I have no clue where to start, so I thought I’d ask you all what you would prefer to see in this journal in the upcoming months. So, here is a little poll for you:

re SS: Yeah well, the problem is, I have 10 (!) pages of notes on Swan Song. Whenever I open that document I am intimidated and close it again. LOL

But I would also like to see your thoughts on Swan Song (you liked it right, because I liked it too.) And a season long meta is always good thing!

I absolutely love Swan Song. In fact, it's one of my favourite Supernatural episodes ever. The only reason why I didn't write the review yet is because I am intimidated by the amount of notes I have on the episode. I guess it's time to sort through them. :)

I know how you feel about notes being overwhelming to the point of not doing anything. At least you have the notes. I got very sporadic in even doing notes in the past years. Which is a shame because I love reading any old notes I have. They often feel like a different more intelligent person than me wrote them.

Given all the wonderful Sam and Dean stuff in the episode, I was surprised as well, but a lot of fans expected something else entirely - some epic angelic fight and whatnot. And people always tend to hate when their expectations are not met.
I always make sure to take notes, but then, I always write reviews, or well, at least intent to, even if sometimes time restraints come in between me and my fannish activities. So taking notes is kind of a necessity. If I wouldn't feel the pressure to get a review out within the week, I'd probably be way more lazy where taking notes is concerned as well. LOL
