Oh, that's true! A rock song would have been really great for the 100th episode. It's too bad they didn't use Kansas' 'Point of No Return'. :(
I think 99 Problems is also excellently done, but maybe ever so slightly less artistically Well, I think the theme of the episode lend itself to playing with more artistic shots, with extraordinary lighting and unsual transitions between the scenes. An action based episode just creates a different atmosphere and needs completely different techniques. And it did that well, the choreographed fight scene is a case in point really. :)
Well it looks to me like the reconciliation/trust rebuilding has gotten a good jump start It most certainly did! But that the problems between them have now been acknowledged, doesn't mean that they are dealt with. But Sam showing his faith in Dean, when Dean stopped to have any faith in Sam, was the most beautiful gesture ever!! ♥
