I'm curious, which episode do you like better, however slightly? I like Dark Side of The Moon better, if only because it emotionally engaged me in a way I haven't been in a long while. It's not that I think it is better written than 99 Problems, just the emotional content hit me harder.
I didn't understand why they didn't just use the one they already have memorized The one they have memorised is absolutely useless during an active fight, because it simply takes too long. The enochian excorcism on the other hand only consisted of a few words and was time-effective. If Sam and Dean had tried to trap a demon between them like Dean did with Gary in Swap Meat, they would have been dead before they even finished the first line. ;)
