I was overall not so fond of this episode--it had plenty of plot holes as you said, and also I guess the story just didn't grip me very much--plus I was hoping for some mytharc stuff from the description (about Dean learning something about the demon who holds his contract), only for that to be fake....ah well!
This is one of the rare episodes, where we see Sam taking the bed near the door, while Dean has the one in the back of the room. Since there is usually a gesture of protectiveness connected to Dean’s habit to always choose the bed near the door, it’s interesting to see it reversed here.
Wow, I have never noticed this tendency, lol! Very interesting....
And yeah, it was not right, seeing Sammy driving that strange silver car! I was wondering where the hell he had gotten it from at first...
