It's the emergence of psychic powers that intrigues me more than the ability to hear the angels - Castiel already told us that people like that exist, although I daresay he wasn't anticipating them being able to randomly over hear every word! But the telekinesis is fascinating. Clearly there is a lot more to this girl than meets the eye!
We didn't get to see that much of her here, either - just establishing her in concept more than anything, presumably ready for more next week.
