In listening to a 16th cent ballad about Dr. Faustus, I was reminded of something else I wanted to say in response to this review on that point! ;)

In my understanding of at leas the Goethe version of the legend (which comes from the TV show "Wishbone" lol, so it could be off) Faust doesn't actually end up in Hell damned in the end because he ultimately did good in his striving--so in that respect (getting out of his deal by suffering and doing good deeds) one *would* hope that Dean had a somewhat Faustian end! ;)
