Icons | Grimm

The other day bittersweettwit lamented the fact that he doesn't have enough Grimm icons and since Grimm is one of my favourite shows at the moment, I gladly offered to remedy that situation. I didn't really play around with icons lately - or any art, really - so I feel a bit rusty, but I think they came out okay. These icons are mainly from the episodes Face Off and Mr. Sandman, but they are not really spoilery.

Aw! *hugs* The winter has been a bit overwhelming 'cause of my illness and related RL stresses. I've lurked a little though, but never got around to update the journal.

Grimm is a really ejoyable show, I've been watching it from the pilot and liking it more and more. So art might happen, yep. :) What about you? Have you thought of making something bigger? This fandom really could use more wallpaper makers. ;)

I have just discovered Grimm this winter. When S1 started to air, I was discouraged by the negative reviews the show had gotten, but during the winter hiatus I checked it out and really fell in love with it over the course of the first 1,5 seasons. So I look forward to seeing some art from you for the show. ♥ So far I haven't thought of making wallpapers. I don't consider myself much of a fanartist anymore, as I have become so out of touch with fanart and the art community. But who knows, maybe one day I'll rediscover my creativity. LOL

I've been also having a bit of an artist block this year. I guess the illness and the loads of work I now have to catch up on drained too much of my creative juice. :) But I'm hoping it'll pass soon.

Ahh, I've always loved your work and thought you one of the very best fanartists. ♥ And, you know, falling in love with a new fandom can give a big boost to one's creativity. I hope you'll feel inspired again someday (and I too, heh.) :)

Well, it happens to the best of us! LOL Given how long you've been doing this fanart thing and the amount of wallpapers you produced, I am surprised you didn't hit a block earlier.

Aww, thanks. It's not only inspiration or fandom love for me, I just have a lot of time constraints lately. When I started fanart, I had A LOT more time at my hands.

I had hit it a few times before. :) It had been always a temporary thing. Still frustrating though. Especially because my problem now is mostly the lack of time as well, and the fact that I feel drained. *sigh*

And I know what you mean about having more time back then. That first year when I just started fanart, I wasn't working and had all of my time for myself, so I produced a minimum of 1-2 wallpapers per week. It was heaven. %) But it's just not possible anymore.
