Status Report

Hi folks! I just wanted to say I am sorry that I didn’t post anything about last week’s episode, not even some basic thoughts or a simple episode reaction. As expected, entertaining my sisters for the better part of the past week left me with no time at all for fandom related things. I didn't even get to watch the new episode while they were here. On top of that, I came down with a nasty case of the flu this Monday, which left me bed-ridden these last few days. In short, I had no opportunity to put a single word about Blood Brother on paper, and I will have to postpone a review for the episode till the winter hiatus, so I can keep up with the airing schedule. Sometimes real life really gets in the way of fandom fun!

Don´t even get me started on Avery. There I was foolishly believing that he was doing a nice thing for his girlfriend and then he ruins everything. When the guy complimented his guitar play, I knew it was over for Scarlett and Gunnar. The song is fabulous, downloading it while I write, thanks.
What did you think of Rayna and Deacons bickering, I found it oddly endearing, even though it was sad, that she didn't pickup the phone. In my opinion it just screamed "lover's quarrel".
But my favorite thing from the entire episode (and it pains me to admitted) was Deacon/Juliette. It had such nice -big brother-takes-care-of-his little sister- feeling, I definitely prefer that.

No problem, I know you have as much problems remembering birthdays than you have with email accounts *g*

I´m off to nightshift, luckily I have my "Internet-Stick" (how do you say that in English?!), so I can watch the latest Castle Episode hi hi...damn all those series, I´m seriously behind with my latest Books...

I was okay with the status of Rayna/Deacon in the episode. I mean, of course it was sad to see them so estranged, but it's understandable that Rayna wants to do the right thing and it is obvious how much they mean to each other nonetheless. I, too, liked the dynamic between Juliette and Deacon in the episode. I would be totally okay with a more friendship based or father/daughter relationship between them. Lord knows, Juliette needs someone who can guide her and help her grow up.

Uhm, I think you can say 'internet stick' or 'surf-stick' or 'modem stick' in English. LOL Hope you had fun watching the new Castle. I thought it was very amusing. *g*
