Phew, thanks for saying that, some fans tend to jump on you, if you say anything critical about Castiel. Yes, I think Castiel is lacking the maturity and growth his human companions showed this season. He's not the only one who made sacrifices, he's not the only one who suffers. In return, Sam and Dean are not the only ones who bear guilt and shame. It bothers me that he shows no sign of comprehending that. /sigh
