Dean's deal was my favourite storyline so far and I am really bitter that it was cut down. /sigh While I agree with S1 being about Sammy, S2 was really all about Dean for me though. Sam's characterisation was often left behind in order to delve into Dean's head. This season I think both characters had good plotlines, with Dean's deal and Sam's role as army leader and the cumulative effects their situation had on both boys and their relationship.
