What do you mean? The crossroad demon is a recurring character, even if it is played by different actors/actresses. I always assumed that it is the same demon, using different bodies, that's why Sandra McCoy's performance was unconvincing to me, as she didn't really get the demon's usual persona across.

ROFL well, gore is part of horror, so it's not like it's unexpected. Kripke and Co have way too much fun to see what they can smuggle past standards&practices. ;)
