To be quite honest, 'Yellow Fever' is one of my least favourite episodes of the season. It's one of those episodes where I was okay watching it first time around, but the longer I thought about it, the less I like it. Oh, and I HATE that cat!scream, I think it's one of the few instances where Jensen overacts a scene, I really didn't find that funny at all. I also dislike that they play the horrible memory of Dean being ripped apart by hellhounds as a joke here. It's just like in MS, I don't like it when grave events in the show are undermined by 'humourising' them. There are some instances in the episode I do find funny, but there's also some stuff in the episode that I really dislike.

Additionally, I am not comfortable with Sam's guardedness towards Dean in this episode. I mean, I completely understand where he's coming from, psychologically, but it saddens me to see him so cut off from his feelings. I can't help it, I am a sap where the brotherly love is concerned. *g*
